What’s on Google Search Brain?
Google Search Engine is probably the most used search engine in the world. It is the fastest engine and people everywhere trust its results more than those of any other search engine. It is one of the oldest and the most effective search engines to date. Never once has a person been disappointed with the results of Google search. It is a site surfed by almost everyone while surfing the internet.
But have you ever paid attention to the Google search suggestions that pop up every time you write a query? These search suggestions are sometimes the funniest and most astonishing things you have ever read. Take social websites for example, you type in Twitter and you are automatically shown the most searched suggestions about it. The ones that made me laugh for hours were “Twitter is retarded” and “Twitter is for old people”.
These Google search suggestions are formulated based on the queries most frequently search by people. It gives you an idea of what people are thinking about a particular thing.
You very well know Barack Obama and might even be a fan of his but try typing his name in a Google search bar and you will see the most astounding search suggestions. Try doing it and tell me what does “Barack Obama is your new bicycle” mean?
This one had me wondering for hours. On searching it I realised that it a one of the many semi nonsensical websites that have come up every since he was elected to be President.
Another thing I have noticed is that everyone wants to know what Bill gates is worth or so I have found on typing his name in the Google search bar.
It is not just people or social networking websites, even Google itself has been made a mockery of.
Just enter Google Adsense and the first search suggestion that pops up is; “Google Adsense is a scam”.
Google itself has a lot of fans though. Enter Google in the search bar and you will see the most surprising first suggestion, “Google is going to take over the world”. Some slew of fans huh?
Then again, there is a suggestion that “Google is making us stupid”. These search suggestions are definitely something to get a laugh out of.
Try typing internet rival MSN into the search engine and you will see suggestions like MSN is not working or is shutting down; not very popular in front of Google obviously.
Yahoo on the other hand seems to be slightly more popular than MSN. It has some better search suggestions, but nothing beats Google.
The funniest search suggestion I have ever come across though belongs to the phrase; “My boss”. We all know, we aren’t too fond of that term and Google search suggestions prove just that. Type it in and see it for yourself.
These are just some of the words that result in funny suggestions, try experimenting on your own and you will find gold.
